MIDDLEWARE FOR VIDEOGAMES 
WWise and FMOD

We have private lessons courses and group lessons. We also collaborate with APAcademy for the Game Audio Diploma course.

We’ll help you move from the basics to advanced level with implementation software. You’ll learn about integration and all needed to put your sounds and music inside games. 
For you who wants to start a career in game audio, we will help you creating your portfolio feedbacking your work and guiding you on all needed to start in the business.

You will learn:
what software you need to have to implement sounds in game,
Wwise and FMOD, basic Unity knowledge and Unity integration, managing assets, creating,
mixing inside middleware, events triggers, RTPC, merging sounds triggered on events, basic scripting, macros, source control systems, testing, VOs/Dialogues, containers, how to manage a third-party implementation etc.

Of course the lessons will be customized on the needs based on the goal and on the previous knowledge of the students.

SOUND DESIGN – MUSIC        SCORING for VIDEOGAMES

To master the basics we will introduce you in the production of pro-quality sounds, how to create layers, ambiences, edit and merge sounds, mixing, how to do field recordings, sampling, synthesis, sound design templates, and more. We will also focus on how to export and manage sound design loops, duckings, VO recording/editing/mixing and analysis.

After this, the student learns:
how to organize libraries and recordings in a proper way, how to create advanced side-chaining, creative-eq and filtered-eq in layering modulations, aux-returns tracks in ambiences, timestretching, layering textures, advanced synth programming, importance of
noise(s), FXs channel chains and how to use most used plugins, merging different sources,
sound design for trailers and for music, finalizing sounds before implementation, clients references analysis.

MUSIC COMPOSITION 
MIX & MASTERING

Yes indeed, we decided to have a particular connection between these two, Music and Mix & Mastering, because we consider that if you create music for games (but we could also extend outside of the gaming world) the two have the same importance and we can’t focus in the lessons on one more than the other, unless it comes from a specific request from the student.

The student will learn how to create music for games, loops vs “normal” track, main used gaming music styles, how to follow a given music reference in a creative and personal way, how to compose in most used game music styles, creating their own templates, orchestral sessions and how to compose in this specific genre, gameplay vs trailer vs scoring for video, merging sound design and music together, how to prepare a mixing session, how to mix in the box with the plugins you have, how to posses total control and knowledge on your plugins, how to do the mastering from organization to the end.

Also important will be how to prepare your tracks for implementation, how to do the sound editing and everything we consider is needed to know and master in the game audio industry.
